  • COMPREHENSIVE EXAM - This is our initial examination of your oral health. This will help us identify specific problems and personalize a treatment plan for you. Our exam includes visual examination of teeth and mouth structure as well as radiographs. An oral cancer screening and evaluation of periodontal health is also performed.

  • RADIOGRAPH - This is simply, an X-ray. While visual examination is useful, X-rays show us what is happening beneath your visible tissue. These will help us to evaluate and positively diagnose any oral diseases or underlying conditions. Initial X-rays will be used as a base comparison for future X-rays.

  • HYGIENE - Professional teeth cleaning (prophylaxis) helps us to prevent the decay of your teeth caused by cavities, gingivitis and plaque. We will do this with a set of instruments used to remove tarter and plaque from your teeth. Personal teeth cleaning by brushing twice a day, flossing between teeth daily and using mouth wash to kill bacteria is essential in maintaining good oral hygiene.

  • PERIODONTAL SERVICES - This is the care we give your gums, but roots as well. Laser Periodontal Therapy is an FDA-cleared treatment alternative offered.

  • NIGHTGUARDS - Nightguards can be used to protect against bruxism, a condition when someone grinds their teeth. This condition can occur while sleeping as well as while awake. Grinding can cause your jawbone to rub and deteriorate, resulting in tenderness and pain in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). Your TMJ is the hinge joint where your lower jawbone joins your skull. To prevent TMJ, a nightguard can be made to fit your teeth. The nightguard is durable, but since it is softer than your teeth it will protect them from wear and your jaws from the pressure of grinding.

  • BREATH TREATMENT- Good oral hygiene is necessary to reducing bad breath. Particles of food can remain in your mouth and collect bacteria without proper brushing, flossing and using mouthwash. Bad breath may also be caused by other factors including periodontal disease, eating certain foods, taking medications, using tobacco products and having a dry mouth. We can help you determine the source and prescribe the proper solution.
